Kiln Island Kitchen Core
A multifunctional kitchen island with hosting intelligence
A central kitchen block that combines prep surfaces, concealed storage, and social seating to support both daily cooking and guest hosting.
Design Story
Modern kitchens often oscillate between high-intensity prep and social gathering. Kiln resolves this by organizing the island into thermal, wet, and presentation zones. A ceramic composite top handles heat and moisture while recessed rails support removable accessories such as chopping stations and serving trays. Seating overhang geometry is tuned to preserve leg comfort without increasing the visual bulk of the unit.
